- A review of the evening's events -

So you want a hassle free life ?

Well doesn't everybody ? You know what's coming next don't you if you've read anything I've written before concerning putting on gigs .. don't ! No you should know by now that I don't mean it ! Basically we had some trouble with support bands but in the end, Logan Five heroically stepped in (at about three hours notice !), and we were treated to their distinct sounding brand of anachro Punk, maybe the vocals weren't to my taste but they sounded different and I like 'different', good on them. See if you can locate a copy of their EP, it's interesting.

I hadn't had so much chance to see LowlifeUK when I'd put them on at Bradford the year before but they seemed pretty amusing afterwards on video afterwards when I watched it. I thought that they were absolutely great at this gig, very funny and some good songs to boot.

This was by far the tightest show I'd seen M.D.M play, they seemed not quite so together last year at Bradford (the guitar, all agreed). They were spot on tonight and a slightly different set helped further still. Looking forward to the next Lp.
