The musicians ..
I suppose that the following pictures split into two sections, this one of
course being all about the band. It would seem that Paul 'H' Henrickson is no
longer the 'new boy' since we now have Christophe (Sauniere) standing in for
A.D. on drums, though at this point in time, I am not sure whether this is a
permanent appointment or not.
It was the first time I had seen Chrisophe play and he seemed pretty damn good
to me ! He seemed to play that little bit faster than A.D. and because the
band had also thrown in a few resurrected older numbers (Easter Bank Holiday
'83, Shit British Tour etc), the set seemed very different indeed and I enjoyed
the change a great deal.
Talking of Paul though as we started off doing, he has a sort of running joke
with me about photographing his 'right' side, since I can't remember which one
that's supposed to be, here he is from both, what a handsome beast he is ..
well that's what he tells me anyway !
The crowd ..
Well besides all that goes behind the scenes, there are two ingredients which
make for a good show, a good set of bands and a very supportive crowd and we
certainly got both that day. Everyone that I spoke to afterwards had really
enjoyed the show which was really nice to find out from people.
I always find
standing at the back and looking out at the end of the day very interesting,
the expressions on people's faces speak volumes. In the picture below for
instance, I nearly didn't bother with it as it's not so good a shot and then I
saw the expression on the face of the girl in the middle which really makes the
pciture for me, tell me what you think.
